Operators of commercial trucks weighing over 4,500kgs. are required to register what is known as Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) licensing.
Commercial operators, in addition to charges brought against a driver, may be charged for violating by the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, among many other laws applicable to roadway users.
